Minnesota Vikings
The man in strips approached the fifty yard line with a coin in his hand.
"Heads!" Favre yelled.
After the coin hit the turf it laid still with the tails side up.
"Take never fails," Jackson, the quarter back starting his first game, taunted.
The game started with a number of three and outs. Although a rookie by the name of Peterson showed signs of greatness no one touch the red zone. The first quarter ended with the punters getting the most work.
The second quarter started with promise. On second and seven Favre was forced out of the pocket and as he was drilled he was able to get the ball into the air. Jennings had a one or one against the weaker corner and with a great leaping circus catch the red zone was finally reached. Unfortunately the gun slinger got a little to comfortable. One the very next play Favre threw a bullet pass to his running back. The ball has fired to hard
Introduction
We all know the story. Brett Farve was a great quarterback for the Green Bay Packers for sixteen great seasons. He lead them to a Super Bowl and even in his final season in Green Bay he lead them to a play-off birth and a last second lost against the eventual Super Bowl Champions. He still had talent but because of his indecisiveness and because of a General Manager wanted to go in a new direction, he was traded. Actually he was gifted to the New York Jets in the beginning of August, 2008. There he started out great but because of a shoulder injury he ended the season in a very forgettable way leaving many to wounder if that was the end to his legendary career.
The Jets drafted Mark Sanchez, and release what they thought was a washed up Favre. As a Free Agent Bret did the one thing no Packer fan could believe. He joined their division rival the Minnesota Vikings. Wearing that purple he lead the Vikings to a season sweep of his former Packers. But what if Brett Favre never left the Green Bay Packers. This blog will discuss that possibility and what could have been.

Chapter One- One More Chance
All he could see were trees and his John Deer tracker. As he ponder weather to mow another acre or call it a night a young girls voice called for him in the distance. It was his teenage daughter Breleigh. With a country boy smile mix with a proud fathers grin he turn to see his sweet little girl who was no so little anymore.
"Dad, You know i love you right?"
"Yeah sweet heart i know. Is everything OK?"
"No. I've heard you're getting traded, to either Tampa Bay or New York. Is that true?"
"Thompson, my GM, is pushing my hand. He wants Rogers to start. Whether he admits it or not he thinks I'm wash up."
"Dad Don't do it. Please! You're a Packer. Either make it work or retire."
"I wish I could but..."
"But what. You are Brett Favre! You can get anything you want and you know it."
"Well, I... I got some grass to cut you better go get ready for supper."
The next morning a plane ticket was bought and a trip from Mississippi to Wisconsin was underway.
Six days later ESPN was the first to report that Brett Favre had come to an agreement with the Green Bay Packers. He was coming back for one or two years and then would most likely retire. They also reported that Favre is adamant that if resting and putting an end to his consecutive starts record was in the best interest of the team he would be glad to sit.
The stage was set for the beautiful ending to an amazing story.
